Two killed in Kalikot mini-truck mishap



KATHMANDU: Two persons have died on the spot when a mini truck met with an accident in Kalikot  district.

The driver and the owner of the vehicle died when a mini truck, Na 7 Kha 9516, coming from Surkhet to Jumla met with an accident.

A truck carrying an oxygen cylinder for the Institute of Health Sciences Jumla met with an accident at a turning point in Shubhakalika Ward No. 1 of the district, said Assistant Sub Inspector Meem Bahadur Bam of Hulma Police Post.

According to locals, this incident is not new as such incidents happen daily on the Karnali Highway during the rainy season.
