KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and ruling CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has remarked that Nepali Congress (NC) has made ‘Prachanda path’ a guiding principle for the party of late.

Speaking at a virtual program organized to mark communist leader Madan Bhandari’s birth anniversary, Prime Minister Oli alleged that NC embraced the path of Prachanda.

“To seek Nathuram Godse to kill the Prime Minister or the willingness to become a Nathuram oneself, is to follow the path of Prachanda,” he said.

PM Oli also criticized former co-chairman of erstwhile NCP and Maoist Center leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and said the latter was responsible for instability and violence in the country.

“Prachanda Path has become so widespread that NC has embraced it as their guiding principle,” he said.

UML chairman Oli also alleged that one of Prachanda’s cadres incited violence in front of the judge in the Supreme Court.

On a different context, he also criticized his former comrade Madhav Kumar Nepal and said that he never proposed the post of Prime Minister to leader Nepal.
