Book those assaulting health workers for trial: Prachanda



KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist-Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ Central Committee has demanded legal action against the perpetrators manhandling the doctors and nurses at Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj

Protesting against the mishandling of the health workers, former Prime Minister Prachanda said on his social media wall Friday that the heinous act of tormenting and assaulting the health workers working day and night deserves strict action.

“Our party has taken serious note of the inhumane treatment meted out to the doctors and nurses at the Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj,” Maoist Center Chair said, adding, “Our party demands strict legal action against those involved in the deadly attacks on health worker.”

Prachanda lauded the hard work health workers and regretted the inhumane behavior shown against the front-liners in this battle against COVID-19 pandemic.
