WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 33,994,214 in the United States of America after 23,007 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 5,687,265 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 27,700,159 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 606,790 with 614 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,523,179 and infected 169,597,652 globally until the filing of this news.
