UK-donated medical supplies arrive in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The medical supplies donated by the United Kingdom (UK) have arrived in Kathmandu.

A total of 260 ventilators and 19, 200 face-shields have been brought via a chartered flight on Friday morning.

British Ambassador to Nepal Nicola Pollitt handed over these medical goods to Health Minister Hridayesh Tripathi at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) this morning, said a press note issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
