POKHARA: Six more people including a postpartum woman have died due to the shortage of oxygen in Pokhara.

The deceased are three from Tahanun and one each from Myagdi, Syangja and Parbat.

They died when a high flow oxygen which was being administered to COVID-19 patient finished all of a sudden.

The kin of the patients scrambled to the oxygen manufacturing industries for oxygen but in vain.

Six people died in the period between Thursday midnight to 4 am today in the course of treatment at the isolation ward of Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, according to the hospital administration.
