Deepak Mange abstains from Gandaki’s crucial PA

POKHARA: Independent lawmaker aligned to CPN-UML Rajiv Gurung alias Deepak Manange has abstained from the crucial province assembly meeting of Gandaki province Wednesday.

According to sources, Manange has not attended today’s PA meeting scheduled to discuss and vote on the no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung.

Manange’s mobile phone is said to be switched off after getting repeated calls from province lawmakers close to CM Gurung.

Both groups of the motion have been counting him on their side despite Manange’s clarification that he still supports the government.
