COVID-19: Nepal records 89 fresh cases, tally hits 2,76,839

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 89 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,76,839 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

The Ministry has informed that Kathmandu valley witnessed 65 new cases of coronavirus in past 24 hours. Kathmandu and Lalitpur got 52 and seven new cases whereas Lalitpur got six cases of late.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that currently the country has reported 1,282 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 95 have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,72,530 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

No COVID-19 related death was reported in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry 3027 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus pandemic in Nepal.
