America’s COVID-19 cases cross 29.2 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 29,200,508 in the United States of America after 62,279 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 9,046,742 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 19,629,132 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 524,634 with 1,519 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,536,454 and infected 114,355,209 globally until the filing of this news.
