All 77 schools of Humla resume classes



SIMIKOT: As many as 77 schools of Humla which have been closed for a long time due to the coronavirus have resumed classes on Thursday.

According to Madhu Basnet Shahi, a teacher at Balmandir Secondary School, more than 80 percent of the students were physically present on the first day.

The school has made it mandatory for students and teachers to use masks for the protection of coronavirus infection.

Similarly, classes have been started simultaneously in 32 schools of Sarkegard village municipality in the central region of the district, said Joshi Dhami, vice-chairman of the village municipality.

She said that the attendance of the students was satisfactory as the reading started at the beginning of the new academic session.

Similarly, classes have been started in 17 schools of Tanjakot village municipality, said Lal Prasad Dhakal, acting chief administrative officer of the municipality.

He said that the students and teachers came to the school.
