KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased by 16.55 points on Thursday. The index closed at  2,425.29 points on the last trading day of the week.

Likewise, the Sensitive Index fell by 4.32 points to close at 442.06 points.

Out of 12 sub-indices, shares of only nonlife insurance, manufacturing, and production, and microfinance went up.

A total of 22,153,981 shares were traded 82,352 times resulting in a total turnover of Rs 9,898,456,128.
