UK reports 1,725 COVID-19 deaths in past 24 hrs



LONDON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 3,715,054 in the United Kingdom (UK) after 25,308 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 1,939,231 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 1,673,936 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 101,887 with 1,725 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,182,155 and infected 101,400,157 globally until the filing of this news.
