Maoist Center Chair confesses people do not see difference between his party and others

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has confessed that people have seen no difference between his party and other political parties in the country.

Presenting a political report at the closed session of the party’s Eighth General Convention, Chairman Prachanda pointed out the need for cultural transformation among party leaders and cadres so that the grass-root level party cadres and supporters feel the difference.

“Commissions, corruption, irregularities, individualism, and power-hunger are on the rise. If this situation cannot be changed, the journey of socialism as a revolutionary party is impossible,” he said in his dossier presented in the mega event of the party.

Prachanda pointed out the need for each committee to seriously discuss the issue of cultural transformation from the level of ideas, political organization and conduct.
