UML leader Rijal announces candidature for CC member



CHITWAN: CPN-UML leader Bishnu Rijal has announced his candidature for the post of a central committee (CC) member in the 10th General Convention of the party.

Rijal has announced his candidature for the CC member under the open category form Karnali Region. The closed session and nomination of candidates are beginning today.

Rijal is the incumbent central member of the UML.

UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli’s proposal to increase CC members has been endorsed by the CC meeting. With the endorsement, the UML will have now 301 CC members.

Similarly, politburo will have 99 members.
