DANG: Four candidates have filed candidature for the post of president of Dang district under the 14th general convention of the Nepali Congress.
Three candidates from the establishment side and one from outside filed candidacy for the district leadership on Friday.
According to the election committee, from constituency-1 Janakilal Basnet and Kamal Kishor Ghimire and Bhup Bahadur Dangi from constituency-2 have registered their names for the presidency. All three are from the establishment side.
Similarly, Shankar Dangi, from Dang constituency-3, has registered his nomination for the post. He is the current district secretary.
