Five families in Dang displaced due to landslide



DANG: Five families of Takura in Bangalachuli village municipality of Dang have been displaced by a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall.

Five families of Dharmapani Tol of Bangalachuli-2 Takura have been displaced due to the landslide that occurred last night.

Ward member Bhim Kumar Budha informed that 22 family members of Dil Bahadur Gharti, Bhim Bahadur Gharti, Parashwor Pun, Tej Bahadur Sarki and Hom Bahadur Gharti have been displaced.

According to him, Dil Bahadur Gharti’s family has been shifted to Bedipokhara.

Preparations have been made to relocate the other four families.

Dil Bahadur’s house has been washed away due to the landslide.
