India reports new 44,558 COVID-19 cases, 493 deaths



NEW DELHI: India’s COVID-19 cases have reached 32,602,325 with 44,558 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, India recorded 493 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 436,889, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Currently, 351,464 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 31,813,972 have returned home after treatment.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 4,487,282 and infected 215,428,361 globally until the filing of this news.
