Pradhan elected Chair of CLRC for second term



KATHMANDU: Writer and senior journalist Pramod Pradhan has been elected the Chairperson of Children’s Literature and Research Centre (CLRC) for a second term.

Pradhan was elected by the CLRC’s special general assembly held virtually last Saturday, coordinator of the election committee Prof Ram Kumar Pande said.

Similarly, Bijaya Raj Acharya has been elected the vice-chair, Ananta Wagle the general secretary, Manju Gyawali the secretary, Shanti Sapkota the treasurer.

The elected members include Tara Nidhi Bhattarai, Rabindra Mannadhar, Kedar Shrestha, and Netra Tamang.

The organization has been organizing workshops on story writing and other topics related to children’s literature. Pradhan was the Chief Editor at Rashtriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), the National News Agency.
