JSP Executive Committee approves PP statute



KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) has approved its parliamentary party (PP) statute.

A meeting of JSP Executive Committee held in Balkumari Tuesday passed the PP statute that was prepared, approved and presented by the JSP PP a few days ago.

Likewise, the Executive Committee meeting also formed a three-member committee for electing the JSP PP leader. The committee is led by Nawaraj Subedi with Ramesh Yadav and Sushila Shrestha as other two members.

Similarly, the meeting also decided to authorize JSP party office Secretary Prakash Adhikari to look after the party’s cases at courts and Election Commission.

Tuesday’s Executive Committee meeting was held after the Upendra Yadav faction of the party clinched the official status of the JSP against rival faction led by Mahantha Thakur.
