Four die in 12 days in Siraha, third variant of coronavirus suspected



JANAKPURDHAM: As many as 4 children have died in a period of 12 days in Janakpurdham from an unknown disease, which officials suspect could be the third variant of coronavirus.

Four children under the age of 16 have died in Siraha, according to health officials.

According to them, four children – with symptoms of cold and fever — died on the way to the hospital as their health deteriorated.

The cause of death of the children has not been confirmed yet. However, health officials have to say that it could be the third variant of the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, a PCR test carried out of the deceased child also could not reveal the cause of the death.
