COVID-19: Recovery rate in Humla stands at 89 percent



SIMKOT: The recovery rate of the coronavirus pandemic in the Himalayan district of Humla stands at 89 percent.

The number of infected cases has come down and the recovery rate has increased in all the villages of the district, according to the district health office.

The recovery rate has reached 89 percent, said Bhakti Fadera, information officer at the health service office.

So far, coronavirus tests have been conducted on 722 people in Humla and 247 people have been found infected.

Of those, 220 have already returned home after recovering.
