Closed training camp of cricket put off

KATHMANDU: The closed training camp of Nepali cricket team scheduled from coming Tuesday has been postponed.

According to Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the decision regarding the postponement of closed training camp was taken as the triangular one-day series between Nepal, Scotland and Namibia scheduled to be held next month in Spain was adjourned.

Considering such intense training, main instructor had recently arrived in Nepal from Sri Lanka.

Those Nepali cricketers selected for the closed camp include Gyanendra Malla, Kushal Bhurtel, Arif Shekha, Paras Khadka, Dipendra Singh Yeri, Kushal Malla, Binod Bhandari, Karan KC, Sandip Lamichhane, Sompal Kami, Kamal Singh Yeri, Abinash Bohara, Sandip Jora, Sahab Alam, Sushan Bhari, Sharad Bheshwakar, Bikram Shob and Pawan Saraf.

Earlier this year, Nepal had played the first series of matches with the United States and Oman at TU Cricket Stadium.
