NEPSE sets new record with transaction worth Rs 14.76 billion



Kathmandu. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has set a new record with the highest transaction on Thursday.

A total of 14.76 billion rupees has been traded in Nepse today. Earlier, a new record of Rs 13.17 billion was set in NEPSE on May 24.

However, the index has decreased by 1.20 points and come down to 2815.40 points. Out of the groups traded today, all except six groups have increased.

According to NEPSE, the share prices of 20 companies have increased today. Khani Khola Hydropower Company Limited, United Modi Hydropower, Nepal Hydro Developer, Kalika Power Company, Arun Kabeli Power, Reedy Hydropower Development Company, and Joshi Hydropower Development Company are among the companies that are witnessing a high rise in share price today.

Similarly, Api Power Company, Divyashwar Hydropower Company, Radhi Power Company, Shiv Shree Hydropower Company, Himal Dolakha Hydropower, Sanimamai Hydropower, Panchakanyamai Hydropower, National Hydropower Company, Butwal Power Company, Union Hydropower Company, Ghalem Shares of Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company, and Mountain Hydro Nepal have increased sharply.

Similarly, investors of Mero Microfinance Financial Institution and Samata Domestic Financial Institution have lost the most today, while Api Power Company has witnessed the highest turnover in terms of the transaction.
