CPN-Maoist Center calls SC meeting at 3 pm today



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Maoist Center has called a Standing committee (SC) meeting at its party office at Paris Danda at 3 pm Tuesday to discuss the current political situation.

According to Maoist Center sources, the meeting will discuss the political report presented by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and the party legislation to be submitted by the central office.

As the party has been hesitant on withdrawing its support from the KP Oli led government, today’s meeting has been waited impatiently for it is expected to withdraw the support.

Earlier, the party had handed over the responsibility to make apt decision on the issue to Chairman Prachanda.
