45 policemen test positive for COVID-19 in Police HQ



KATHMANDU: As many as 45 policemen have tested positive for COVID-19 working at the Nepal Police Headquarters, Naxal.

COVID-19 infection has been seen at various levels of police personnel working at the headquarters.

Even in the first phase, hundreds of police personnel were infected with the virus at the police headquarters.

At present, 93 police personnel across the country have been infected, said Police Spokesperson SSP Basanta Bahadur Kunwar.

In the first phase, six policemen succumbed to the coronavirus.
