DoCSCP closes services amid Covid-19



KATHMANDU: The Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection (DoCSCP) has closed its all service except the most essential ones amid increasing cases of COVID.

The Department has shut all services except the one provided by the market monitoring, supplies, and consumer protection section and export permission and facilitation branch until May 2.

“Infection risks increase due to service seekers forming crowd at the Department. We decided to close public service at the direction of the district administration office, Kathmandu. However, market monitoring continues,” the department has said.
