CK Raut-led Janamat Party launches ‘Mati Yatra’



BUTWAL: The Janamat Party Nepal led by CK Raut has launched a ‘Janmat Mati Yatra’ with a message of national unity from Friday.

The campaign to cover Mechi in the east to Mahakali in the west started in a program organized in Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha.

Shedding light on the objective of the program, Raut informed that the party would collect soil from various local parts of the country to make a garden representing all parts of the country.

He said that the program would be launched in various phases and would be carried out in three districts at the first phase.

Stating that Nepalis are divided on the basis of caste and geography, he said that the campaign is trying to convey the message of unity.
