Maoist leader Pokhrel says communist unity a must



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center leader Lilamani Pokhrel has said that communist unity is a must.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the 10th General Convention of the CPN-UML in Chitwan Friday, Pokharel said that there should be no differences among political parties on issues of national independence and development.

The Maoist leader was of the view that communist unity and polarization are essential for the advancement of the communist movement. “Unification, struggle and cooperation are continued processes in the political sphere and the cooperation among the Communist parties is essential despite differing views and mutual bitterness.”
