PM Deuba flying to Chitwan to address UML General Convention



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba is going to Chitwan to address the 10th National General Convention of the main opposition CPN-UML.

According to NC sources, PM Deuba is flying to Chitwan via a chopper to address the mega event of the opposition party on Friday afternoon.

The general convention is being held from Friday to Sunday. UML has constructed a big and spacious stage to accommodate more than 500 leaders during the inauguration ceremony.

The party hopes to make a mass gathering of around 500,000 people.

On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Nepal, 72 artists are scheduled to perform simultaneously during the inauguration ceremony.
