Folk singer JB Tuhure passes away



KATHMANDU: Folk Singer Juth Bahadur Khadgi (JB Tuhure) has passed away on Thursday.

Tuhure died at Bayodha Hospital today morning.

He was taken to Bayodha Hospital for treatment after he suddenly collapsed at home on Tuesday.

The singer, who was suffering from chronic diseases such as heart, lung, diabetes, and high blood pressure, is the immediate past president of the People’s Cultural Federation close to CPN (Maoist Center).

According to Shri Ram Dhakal, Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Center), his body will be laid for final condolences at the party central office, Parisdanda from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.

His funeral will be held at Pashupati Aryaghat on Thursday afternoon.
