UML holding CC meeting today first time following official registration of CPN (Unified Socialist)

To dwell on partly split, 10-pt deal



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML is holding a central committee (CC) meeting today.

The CC meeting of the UML is taking place for the first time following the official registration of the CPN (Unified Socialist) led by former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.

According to Sher Bahadur Tamang, the secretary of the UML party office, UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has called the CC meeting at 12 pm.

The meeting will take place at Tulsilal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal, Lalitpur. The disgruntled leaders, who had earlier sided with leader Nepal, are also participating in the meeting today following the implementation of the 10-point agreement.

Today’s CC meeting will be focused on the impact of the party split and the implementation of the 10-point agreement, said a UML leader.
