KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has claimed Prime Minister KP Oli’s government is working for foreign element’s interest.
Speaking to the reporters in Kathmandu on Saturday, Prachanda reiterated that the opposition alliance was not formed under any other vested interest except for safeguarding the democracy.
“Our alliance is for democracy and safeguarding the rights that were enshrined in the Constitution after nearly eight decades long struggle for it,” he said, adding, “There are no other claims for the post of Prime Minister.”
He claimed that Prime Minister KP Oli had already proposed Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba for the post of Prime Minister.
Prachanda also accused domestic and foreign powers of trying to nullify Nepal’s constitution.
“Don’t expose us too much about where the conspiracies have taken place. If there is too much exposure, it will not benefit the country,” he said hinting at the foreign element’s involvement.
