UML warns of action against Sudurpaschim lawmakers



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has warned that action will be taken against the lawmakers of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly who violated the party’s decision.

Chairman of UML the Provincial Committee Karna Thapa said that the lawmakers of the province should abide by the decision taken by the party center.

He warned that action would be taken against those who disobeyed the Centre’s decision.

A meeting of the CPN-UML’s standing committee held on Monday had decided to withdraw its support to the Sudurpaschim Provincial Government.

The meeting had decided to withdraw its support to the provincial government and instructed the ministers to withdraw from the government within 24 hours.

However, a meeting of the state parliamentary parties on Wednesday decided not to withdraw its support to the government.
