PM Oli terrorizing people to prolong his tenure: NC

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has alleged Prime Minister KP Oli for conspiring to prolong his tenure on the government on the pretext of controlling coronavirus pandemic.

A meeting of NC office bearers concluded that PM Oli has been spreading terror among the people instead of preventing and controlling the pandemic.

The NC party has also accused the government of spreading terror among the people by urging people to buy food and other necessities for two weeks.

“The Oli-led government is trying to spread terror among the people by asking them to purchase grocery and other items within two days,” said Joint General Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat after a meeting at the residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilkantha on Wednesday.

The NC has also alleged the government for failing to focus on conducting PCR tests, treating the infected people.

The Nepali Congress has also urged the government to work towards safeguarding people’s lives.
