12 injured in a jeep accident in Baitadi



KANCHANPUR: A jeep carrying a bride and a groom along with other passengers met with an accident injuring at least 12 people in Baitadi.

The jeep was returning to Gokuleshwor from Mahendranagar of Kanchanpur district when it met with an accident.

The jeep (Far Western Province 02001 Ja 377) met with the accident at around 5:50 am on Monday, police said.

The condition of two of the injured is critical, according to Kishor Singh Air, Inspector at the District Police Office, Baitadi.

The cause of the accident has not been disclosed yet. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
