India’s COVID-19 cases cross 11.8 million

NEW DELHI: India recorded 59,069 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 11,846,082.

Currently, 422,596 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 11,262,503 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 160,900-mark.

With 257 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 160,983, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
