Cabinet decides to summon HoR session on March 7



KATHMANDU: A meeting of Council of Ministers has decided to convene a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on March 7.

The meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Friday decided to recommend to the President to call the Parliament for March 7.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari will now convene the Parliament following the recommendation by the Council of Ministers as per the Constitutional provision.

It should be noted that the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday had ordered the government to summon the session of the lower house within 13 days.
