America’s COVID-19 cases cross 29 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 29,051,449 in the United States of America after 96,564 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 9,095,297 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 19,435,415 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 520,737 with 2,366 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,518,292 and infected 113,531,986 globally until the filing of this news.
