KATHMANDU: Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa has conferred insignia on the newly-promoted Major General.
During a function at Nepal Army (NA) Headquarters, NA Chief Thapa conferred the insignia on newly-promoted Major General Hiralal Joshi.
Joshi was promoted as per the decision of the Council of Ministers on Sunday.
Likewise, one Colonel promoted to Lieutenant General was also conferred with insignia.
