NC Gen Convention: Sushil Gurung from Deuba panel elected as president in Rupandehi-3



BUTWA: Sushil Gurung has been elected as the president of Rupandehi Constitution-3 of the Nepali Congress through the regional convention held under the 14th General Convention.

Gurung from the Deuba panel became the president by scoring 377 votes. His closest rival Matrika Yadav from Ram Chandra Poudel panel obtained only 242 votes.

The panel led by Gurung has made a clean sweep in the convention election.

Bhawani Prasad and Lekhanath Bhattarai from the Gurung panel obtained 367 and 362 votes, respectively.
