KATHMANDU: A septuagenarian women, who was hit by a bus in the capital, has died Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Sanu Maya Pasaju, 72, of Bhaktapur. A bus with number plate Ba 5 Kha 6400 hit the elderly near Pipalbot of Chabahil on Sunday afternoon.
Pasaju was rushed immediately to the nearby Medicare Hospital for treatment after the accident. Seriously injured in the accident, she died in the course of treatment at the hospital today.
Police have arrested the bus driver for further investigation and impounded the vehicle.
