KATHMANDU: Police Headquarters, Naxal, has given the responsibility of Metropolitan Police Circle, Durbar Marg to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bishwaraj Khadka.
Khadka was called back to Nepal Police headquarters from Gajuri after he was accused of abetting Radhe Bhandari, a gangster from Dhading. Nepal Police transferred him to Durbar Marg.
Earlier, Khadka, who is considered close to the Nepali Congress (NC), had been in-charge of Metropolitan Police Circle, Balaju.
Likewise, DSP Thag Bahadur KC has also been transferred to the Area Police Office, Butwal.
