2 die, 39 get injured in Sindhupalchowk bus mishap



SINDHUPALCHOWK: Two people have died and 39 injured when a bus (Ba 3 Kha 8030) fell some 30 meters down the winding road at Sunkoshi-3, Kalikachhap, Sindhupalchowk on Wednesday.

According to District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk, out of the total injured, two died while undergoing treatment in Dhulikhel Hospital.

18 are undergoing treatment at the Sindhu Sadavahar Hospital, Khadichaur; 20 at Dhulikhel Hospital, Kavrepalanchok, and one at Madhyapur Thimi Hospital in Bhaktapur.

As the identity of the bus driver and co-driver has not been ascertained yet, the cause of the accident is still unknown.

The police are investigating further for details.
