NC senior leader Poudel and Gen Sec Koirala support NC leader’s sit-in protest



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and party General Secretary Shashank Koirala have expressed solidarity with the sit-in protest of the party leaders.

Poudel and Koirala reached the party central office at Sanepa on Wednesday and expressed their support for the 24-hour relay strike demanding that the list of active members be made public.

Madhu Acharya, President of Kavrepalanchowk district, said that the district presidents will continue staging a sit-in at the party’s central office in Sanepa unless the list is made public.

President of Nuwakot district, Jagadishr Narsingh KC, President of Kavre Acharya, President of Dhading district Ramesh Dhamala, Former President of Nepal Students Association Ranjit Karna, among others are staging a sit-in protest.
