Bhim Rawal criticizes Prachanda for trying to divide UML

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal has expressed serious objection to the statement made by CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda that “some members of the ruling alliance have collapsed”.

Rawal accused Prachanda of trying to divide the UML.

Prachanda had on Saturday said that some leaders who had played an effective role in the alliance had collapsed.

Without naming Rawal, Prachanda had said, “Some of my friends retreated unbelievably while trying to break this alliance.”

Rawal, meanwhile, said that he would not tolerate any conspiracy against the UML party.

“I have not collapsed by resigning from the House of Representatives. I am in favor of healthy political practice against any conspiracies to dismantle or split the CPN-UML,” Rawal has said.

Rawal further stated that the alliance was formed to make Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba the Prime Minister.
