KATHMANDU: Hearing in the writ petition filed to make the government of Province No. 2 inclusive as per the Constitution, the Janakpur High Court has ordered Chief Minister and other defendant to  show before the court for discussion.

Hearing in a writ filed by advocate Raj Kumar Mahaseth, a single bench of Justice Binod Sharma called the opposition for a discussion on June 30.

Advocate Mahaseth has filed a writ petition against the Province Chief, the Office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, the Chief Minister, the Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, the Minister for Drinking Water and Energy and the Minister for Women, Children, Youth and Sports and demanded the revoke of the three ministers the Chief Minister appointed on June 9, claiming the cabinet was not inclusive.

With the rifting dispute in the ruling Janata Samajbadi Party, Province 2 Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut had sacked few ministers loyal to party’s Mahantha Thakur faction and appointed other lawmakers as ministers.

Earlier, Province 2 Governver, Rajesh Jha ‘Ahiraj’ had written to CM Raut drawing his attention towards the constitutional provisions of inclusiveness.
