Nepal Retailers Association Chair Shrestha passes away



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Retailers Association Raj Kumar Shrestha has passed away.

Shresth, who was battling the coronavirus for a long time, died in the course of treatment at Norvic Hospital on Thursday afternoon.

Shrestha had been hospitalized on May 6 after being diagnosed with COVID-19, according to Amulkaji Tuladhar, the general secretary of the NRA.

He had been elected as the chairman of NRA in 2075 BS.

Originally from Bode, Bhaktapur, Shrestha had been staying at Dilli Bazaar with his family members until recently.
