Nepse decreases by 6.47 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 6.47 points.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2816.60 points.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also declined by 4.51 points to 533.99 points.

The transaction amount, which made history by exceeding Rs 13 billion on Monday, was slightly lower on Tuesday.

A total of 2,34,65,675 shares of 219 companies were traded 112,148 times resulting in a turnover of Rs. 11.13 billion.

The final price of Barun Hydro increased by 44 per share and reached Rs 486, Mountain Hydro increased by 34 per share and closed at Rs 379, Universal Power by 25 per share and closed at Rs 279 and Ghalemdi Hydro by 22 per share and closed at Rs 247.

Similarly, investors of Multipurpose Finance Company have lost the most while Arun Kabeli Power Company has lost the most in terms of turnover.
