DAOs in Kathmandu Valley suspend non-essential services from Monday



KATHMANDU: Three District Administration Offices (DAOs) in the Kathmandu Valley have decided to suspend all non-essential services from Monday for a week.

A joint meeting of the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur districts Sunday decided to suspend all non-essential services provided by the district administration office for one week.

Kathmandu Chief District Officer Kali Prasad Parajuli said that non-essential services have been suspended for a week with effect from Monday.

According to him, the meeting has decided to request the overcrowded office to provide service maintaining the schedule for each day for a week.
