COVID-19: Sushil Koirala Prakhar Cancer Hospital to close for a week



KATHMANDU: Banke has turned into a hotspot of coronavirus with cases rising in an alarming rate in the district, of late.

The PCR test reports carried out on doctors, nurses and health workers at Sushil Koirala Prakhar Cancer Hospital based at Khajura have shown that 90 percent of the staffers are infected with the pandemic.

“All services except for emergency ward will remain closed for a week from April 25 until June 1 since all almost all the medical persons of the hospital were infected with the COVID-19,” reads a press release issued on Saturday by the hospital.
